Dr Lindy-Lee Green

Dr Green started her medical career as a family physician working in a dedicated pediatric unit in South Africa. Realizing her passion for child health she completed a residency program at the University of Stellenbosch, graduating as a General Pediatrician in 2016. In 2017 she completed a Master of Medicine research dissertation with a publication in the Journal of Tropical Pediatrics. She subsequently completed a 2 year fellowship program in Pediatric Respirology and received the Connor Farrel Medal for her outstanding academic and clinical achievements in 2018, through the College of Medicine of South Africa.

Her journey to Canada started at Burnaby hospital in 2019. After completing the Canadian board certification, she expanded her services to now include positions at BC Children's Hospital General Pediatric unit and Abbotsford Regional Hospital Pediatric and Neonatal units.

She believes that no disease or illness should place a limitation on the developmental and physical achievements of any child. Through a dedicated focus on child health and appropriate treatment it is possible for ALL children to "play, grow and develop" into well balanced and happy individuals. Dr Green will be serving the Abbotsford and greater Fraser Health communities from a multidisciplinary clinic at Mahogany Medical in the heart of Abbortsford.

Dr Green loves the outdoors and enjoys cycling, hiking and playing golf. During the long rainy season, she likes cooking, reading and skiing.
